We're always looking for a few good judges!

Are you interested in becoming involved with E+E Leader Product + Project Awards as a judge?

Here's our prospectus to get you started:

We are committed to maintaining a panel of independent, expert practitioners who provide a thoughtful and unbiased assessment of the industry’s most innovative companies, products and projects.  Your extensive knowledge and expertise help to ensure that we deliver an outstanding awards program.

Qualifications:

  • Active involvement and experience in business with a focus or thorough understanding of environmental, sustainability, energy management and ESG concerns or software development/data analysis.
  • Able to commit up to 10 hours of time maximum during our judging window which runs roughly from mid-December to January 31.

Process:

Judges independently review and assess a group of randomly assigned entries (typically 15-20) after the call for submissions has closed.  Each entry assigned should be rated according to guidelines to be supplied at the time of assignment (a scale of 1-5 with direct questions to be answered regarding the product/project). All submissions are judged anonymously, so no one will ever know specifically which entries you judged. Judges are not announced or promoted with regard to any particular year. If you are assigned an entry with which you have a conflict, please don’t hesitate to reach out to let us know and we’ll happily reassign and replace.

Benefits of Judging:

E+E Leader has debuted this new awards website, where we also recognize and thank our judges.  You may reach out to help keep us updated should your working situation change or if you wish to update your photo, educational pursuits, etc. Throughout the year, we often reach out to past judges for quotes, interviews, and participation in various initiatives.

We would be delighted to have you join our judging panel for the 2026 E+E Leader Awards. If you’d like to participate, please fill out the information below and we'll be in touch.
